At 3:32 pm I was sitting literally fifteen feet away from our intercom phone. Right there.
And yes, we tested it to make sure it works, and no there wasn’t even a UPS tag on the front door of our building.
In other words, UPS is lying though their teeth. No attempt was made to deliver it, and likely the truck didn’t even slow down near our building.
So now we wait until… who knows when, and walk down to the closest delivery depot on Broadway.
You know, as evil as Amazon might be, they at least can actually deliver stuff. To your door. At the time they promise.
The irony? The delivery was for a Roku Kobo e-book reader that will allow me to totally cancel my Amazon account.
